Is it *THAT* hard to believe that I "can" change, or that I "want" to change my bad lifestyle habits?
Because all of the sudden I don't do this, or don't want to do that, does anyone think this is a "publicity stunt," a "cry for attention," or that I'm just flat out full of shit?
Some things you can shift in/out of "cold turkey," and there are those things that take some weening off of. It's called Will Power. I'm strong mentally, and stick to something if I want to.
I have a sweet tooth. I'll confess, I don't like exercising all the time. One thing I have learned the older I get is that I can't get everything done that i want to. You have to find the perfect balance.
Now I know, all lot of this is cliché, some may call it Bullshit. For me, it's real. I'm going to be 30 in less than 6 months. This maybe my "mid-life crisis," who knows. All I can do is stick to *MY* rules and hope for the best.

Week in Review: 3/21-3/27/11
This week:
- I went running at the beach 3 days, and lifted weights 3 days.
- Read a comic book?!?! 1st TIME EVER!
- Downloaded some eBooks I plan to read soon.
- Ate Subway 3 times.
- Did not drink any sodas.
- Had 1 alcoholic drink.
- Hung out with friends.
- Limited my sugar intake to a minimum.
- Only had 8 Lo-Carb Monsters.
- Did my 1st installment of "Spring Cleaning"
Making real progress here, can already see and feel the difference. I can see 2 of my ribs again!

Plan of Attack and O.J. Simpson
I want to change. How am I going to make this change? Is it wrong of me to ask for help during this metamorphosis?
I don't need Christ, or anything like that to rely/fall back on. More like cooperation and "Moral Support" as they say.
I'm tired of always saying (and hearing) the negative about everything. "Why are you doing this/that, how come ____ .". Now don't get me wrong, I don't think every decision I make is perfect, or the best one. I like to think though that for the most part I make decisions that I will in some way benefit from them.
I am trying to watch my sugar intake, reduce my caffeine intake, exercise daily, buy only what I feel is absolutely necessary, pay bills on time, get organized, reduce clutter, all while making the most out of each day. I've also started reading again.
And speaking of reading...(nice segue, huh?) I have started reading books again. Shall I say again? I seriously can count the number of books I have read. To be honest, I have not read a book in over 5 years. The last book I read was "Evidence Dismissed: The Inside Story of the Police Investigation of O.J. Simpson"by Detectives Tom Lange and Philip Vannatter.
This book told the inside story, how the LAPD botched the investigation and evidence, and how the Prosecution made wrong decisions in prosecuting the Juice. A very good book, a fast read, and if you remember all of the trial and the chase down the 405 freeway, and were into that stuff it will surely interest you.
I just read Juice's unreleased book "If I Did It." Another quick read, some grammatical errors, but definitely gets you thinking. He tells you he did it, what happened, but writes that it's "hypothetical." I recommend it.

New Outlook
Today I had a realization. I am overweight and feel shitty. I feel like I need energy drinks just to survive daily. I spend foolishly, and need to start looking toward the future. You never know what's going to happen on a daily basis, so you might a well plan a good future yet still live in the present, and live to the fullest.
